I bought Roland MC-101 Groovebox just for amusement but immediately realized that it’s a lot more than I expected. It’s impressively well designed with this small form factor. The sound quality is great. The effects are super useful and fun. The sequencer is easy to use. It only has 4 tracks, but that’s enough to me! It might be a bit expensive but definitely not overpriced.

TIL ffmpeg can be used to edit/composite videos using filter graphs. It’s useful to automate a workflow that requires repetitive operations.

I wrote a small script to automate a video editing workflow using ffmpeg. Now I’m putting a full load on my Ryzen CPU.
