Qualité et performance reconnues

Le capteur original DRAGON® est devenu une référence pour ses performances et sa fiabilité en matière de production cinématographique et télévisuelle. Désormais, la nouvelle caméra DSMC2 DRAGON-X 5K S35 offre la même qualité d’image que ses prédécesseurs tout en bénéficiant du frame rate élevé à 5K, d’un taux de transfert exceptionnel et du process de traitement d’images IPP2. Elle s’inscrit également dans le programme « obsolescence obsolete », permettant aux propriétaires RED de bénéficier de la mise à niveau vers tous les autres capteurs de la gamme DSMC2.

Avec un design compact, le DRAGON-X 5K S35 est adaptable en toute circonstances, qu’il s’agisse de capter les évènements forts de la vie, de créer des contenus pour YouTube ou de réaliser n’importe quel tournage au pied levé. Ainsi, les utilisateurs tirent le meilleur parti des performances du RAW à chaque instant et en tout lieu où leur caméra les accompagnera.

Workflow intuitif et puissance de compression incomparable

La famille de caméras RED DSMC2 propose un « pipeline » de traitement d’image (IPP2) entièrement remanié. Ce workflow offre un large éventail de fonctionnalités telles qu’une meilleure gestion des couleurs complexes, un lissage encore plus doux vers les hautes lumières « roll off », ainsi qu’un espace colorimétrique et gamma standardisés. RED est aussi, propriétaire d’un format de fichier qui permet d’encoder efficacement les données d’image et de les utiliser dans toutes les suites logicielles de post-production.
